what has better sound quality, the remo black max or white max head?

They're the same, but it all depends on what looks better. We use blacks cuz they look cool with our uniforms

They're actually not quite the same. The black max tends to be a slightly drier and darker sound, while the white max sits on the brighter side. In my experience, the black max sounds a little better tuned on the low side, while the white max sounds better on the high side.
