I think it is a nice addition and will become even better as it matures through user feedback. The most important thing is that, regardless of any flaws, members provide constructive feedback to help those involved with the project make it a success.

I think as far as the question that is commonly asked, "What do I need to work on to get better?", this section of the forum will definitely provide those who are just beginning or need help on other things a great tool to practice with. It's definitely going to help those people out and it can even help those of us who already have good/great hands get even better at some things.

Now, I will say this, if people just hack through these exercises with no attention to technique, then they'll only hurt themselves. I could see some instructors catching wind of this and using this to help their kids get better.

And the only thing I wish I could add with it is a metronome clicking all the way through the exercises. Other than that, this is great.

I think Practice Pad is awesome. I feel like there are still some exercises (ex: more hybrids) that could be added, but this is definitely a great start

agreed. Not gonna lie i kind of had some doubts as to what this would be about and whether it would just be a pad discussion forum (which would be lame), but this is the shizznit. great job!

every single one of those exercises has an MP3 track that literally plays exactly what is on the page. idk why you would need a metronome to go with that.

I'd like to see a tenor section of the program! A few unique tenor exercises, but a few that go along with the snare pieces. That way if a snare player and tenor player want to pad out they have the option.

You could write your own arounds to these and play them.

Sure, but part of this program is sharing your exercises, right? We could streamline the process for someone who would like to pass along their tenor routine. I know I could write my own parts, but it would be a real pain to share with the community.

I wish I could get the internet at my middle schools...I would use this in a heart beat

I made a packet out of basic exercises..downloaded the mp3's of them..and made CDs for the middle school kids <3..so helpful..that's what kids need
