Painting floor/tarp for indoor

Posted: Mon Jul 13, 2015 2:17 pm

Hey everyone so I'd looking for which is the best paint for painting an indoor percussion floor? Does it depend on the material of the floor? Also what are your tips for painting an indoor floor?

probably depends a lot on the material, is it already painted, laminated, decaled, blank, etc. ask someone at your local home depot/lowes about what paint types would work best with the given circumstances. someone who works with paints all day long is more likely to give you a good lead on paints. :)

Exterior flat house paint is the most durable and dries the fastest. Exterior glossy house paint takes longer to dry and the one season we used it we had to touch up the floor multiple times.

The brand doesn't really matter. I have used the cheapest Lowe's house brand and more expensive paint like Olympia and the results were pretty much the same. After the floor dries, some groups put down corn starch or baby powder to keep the folds from sticking together. Just remember that doing this makes your design fade ever so slightly.
