I know I like to play it below 110, not because I can't play it that speed, but because it leaves me more room to let the music breathe as you say. I think it is more satisfying to play this way for me because I can play around a bit more with the feel and vary the accent and dynamic shaping of the phrases.
I must be getting old. I will probably be the old senior driving below the speed limit just out enjoying the drive.
