I need a little bit more work controlling down-tempo rolls, especially at the tap height, so I made a "beginner" version that focuses on slower tempos.
Triplet Rolls - Beginner
Description:
15 minutes: Extendo Triplet Diddle
15 minutes: Tap Drags and Fives
Max Tempo: 140
Routine Steps:
- extendo-triplet-diddle-100, 6 reps
- extendo-triplet-diddle-110, 5 reps
- extendo-triplet-diddle-120, 5 reps
- extendo-triplet-diddle-130, 5 reps
- extendo-triplet-diddle-140, 5 reps
- tap-drags-and-fives-100, 12 reps
- tap-drags-and-fives-110, 10 reps
- tap-drags-and-fives-120, 10 reps
- tap-drags-and-fives-130, 10 reps
- tap-drags-and-fives-140, 10 reps
Total Routine Time: 00:30:43

I read that, I just wanted to double check. Maybe he plays it at 6 inch tap height and 12 for accents. I was just trying to clarify.

Could someone please make a more difficult version please?
Possibly including a routine from a more experienced player on these forums? I have a few years of experience and even after doing this routine regularly for several months, my rolls still feel very uncomfortable and inconsistent.
Thanks
