Mysterious Green Mallets

Posted: Sun Apr 12, 2015 7:04 pm

At WGI yesterday I was touring all the Front Ensembles and a lot of them had green marimba mallets. I'm trying to figure out what they are. Here they are in Chino Hill's video from last year:

Any ideas?

Hmm, are you sure? That seems like a pretty good guess. Doesn't look like they are labeled, it would be had to remember which ones are which.

The markworths are pretty standard with vic firth groups. I know that Chino uses a couple of different models from that series. If you see green mallets at a marching percussion show, its probably a safe bet they're from that series.

Look through the VF catalog. The only green headed mallets VF makes are the Markworth series.

While I'm not 100% positive, my educated guess would put my confidence at about 98%.
