Marimba Rental

Hello all! After my many failed attempts at finding a marimba to rent in the South Eastern US, I figured that this would be the best place to ask. All I'm looking for is a 4.3 octave to practice on at home for a few months. If no one knows of a place to rent one in the southeast, then some where to purchase used or new 4.3 octave marimbas for around the $2,250 range would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I am currently renting a 4.3 Octave Adams Padouk marimba from LoneStar. I live in South Florida. I would contact them... The marimba i have if you wanted to buy it from Lonestar is about 2100 i believe. I am paying 80$ a month though.

Ellerystep, I think the best option for you may be to see if any companies have a rent-to-own option. I'm not sure how many percussion companies do this, but logically I think they would. Basically the idea would be that you rent it until you have rented it long enough that the total amount you've given for renting has added up to the same amount as paying for the instrument (or some companies put in some slight interest), at which point you have bought it and it belongs to you. I believe that's what the school I'm working with did for their 4.3 Yamaha Acoustalan, but I may be wrong. And companies may not do this, I don't know, I've never tried. But it never hurts to ask
