They usually aren't out of stock for too long from what i've noticed. It probably depends from time to time, but it seems like they try to get an order in as soon as they can.

It's hard to believe that every place is out of stock. Do you have some music store in your area that may have one? I drove 45 minutes away to get mine..

Hard to drive 45 min away with no license. Plus, I doubt the music store nearby has one and the only other store is a Guitar Center.

I don't have a license, so I guess I should have said my parents drove me.

Didn't know if this deserved its own thread so I'll post here: http://offworldpercussion.com/IMS1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This is interesting to me because I am 5'0 and I already crank up my snare stand until it's almost not assembled anymore in order to be standing height. So for you folks of normal height, this is probably useful.

The Invader Pad is pretty cool. I own a V3, and the rim is good for practice, but even if you keep up on washing/turtle waxing it, it kinda loses its initial feel after a while. It's still great for practice though in my opinion.

cant wait for the quad pad. also for some reason i feel like my invader is wearing out. ive cleaned and waxed it once a week since i got it almost 3 months ago. its still really articualte and feels great but its not quite as awesome as the first few weeks that i had it. anyone else notice anything similar to that? it could just be me but im not sure

Just some news, at the Offworld Pads in the Lonestar Booth at Dayton, they said they were working on an Invader laminate.

Does the gum rubber invader act like a double sided pad? Does it have dark matter on the bottom and does it still respond well?

Wow, late response, but no, it's just gum rubber. If you want both gum rubber and the Dark Matter get the Tap-Off.

what if for the v4 they:

-made darkmatter in metallic red and swirled it around with the black and put a red rim and mars crescent badge thing on it to make a "Mars" pad (or same thing with blue or gold etc.)
-or they made it in several different colors and made a nebula design with those and black and called it "Nebula"
-and also sold the regular black?

would that be cool, or just a weird thing to do with the invader?
