John mapes tenor stick?

This isn't a review for it but I'm wondering if anyone has tried it and if they like it.

Spectacular sticks. The best tenor sticks on the market for sure. They're shorter than a snare stick, but long enough to reach your drums without having your fulcrum in a totally ridiculous place. I would suggest picking up a pair or two and taping from the bead to about an inch past the shoulder to give it a little more weight it the front.
Jennings County High School
"The Marching Pride of Jennings County"

Bass 3 - '13-'14
Bass 4 (bottom) - '14-'15
Snare - '15-'16

Jennings County Jazz Band
Drum set - '13-'14, '15-'16
Jennings County High School's "A Touch of Class" (Show Choir)
Tenor - '14-'15, '15-'16

Dang, are they really that good? My instructor wants us to use Vegas but I saw these came out and I wanted to try them out, prior to this year we've used Ralph hardimon tenor stick and it was decent. Would you go mapes tenor stick over Vegas though?

Yes. Sean Vaga sticks are a tad weird since you're meant to told them at the absolute end. The Mapes sticks are just like snare sticks with a big, round black nylon tip on the front.

Cool, I'll definitely try them out then and get the other quad players opinions, thanks.

I would highly advise Vegas over mapes. I've used both for a season and I can tell you that the Vegas are much better in that they feel lighter, and heavier at the same time, which give it way more rebound
