Double Snare Drums?

I really love the sound of Dynasty double snare drums when tuned right. I am concerned though with how it would sound in an ensemble setting. Does anyone here have any experience with them on a line?

If you're talking about the top head snare system, its not an effect you'd want to use for an entire show, but it can be useful for specific moments of a show. I think the Bluecoats have used it with some success (the Yamaha version) recently.
