Evand heads reviews

Posted: Thu Jan 28, 2016 9:15 pm

It always kills me when I see someone give a 1 star review on an Evans head because it "didn't come with the whole drum" like it shows in the picture. It's like " I recently ordered a pair of gloves that clearly showed a woman wearing them, but it didn't come with the woman!"

Evans makes good heads that are durable and have good tone, Evans makes good heads that are durable and have good tones at the beginning of their lifespan. However, I find that they sound and feel dead after a while. This is more of a problem for tenors and basses. I find that the snares have a nice dry sound and a soft feel. I personally prefer Remo because they have an incredibly natural feel and have fantastic tone all throughout their lifespan. If Aquarians made more marching heads, though, I wouldn't have anything to do with their competition.
